KAZ Oil is proud to celebrate the success of its long-standing partnership in the collection and export of used cooking oil, which was recognised with a Bronze Award at the 16th Stelios Bi-Communal Awards for Business Co-operation in Cyprus.
The awards ceremony took place on 8 June 2026 at the Stelios Philanthropic Foundation Headquarters in Nicosia, where Sir Stelios Haji-Ioannou awarded a total of €500,000 to nine outstanding Greek Cypriot and Turkish Cypriot business partnerships.
Among the award recipients were Andreas Zachariou and Hakan Goksan, whose collaboration in the collection and export of used cooking oil received a Bronze Award, recognising their contribution to sustainable business practices and cross-community cooperation.
The event was attended by President Nikos Christodoulides, UN Secretary-General's Personal Envoy Maria Angela Holguín Cuéllar, and the UN Secretary-General's Special Representative in Cyprus, Khassim Diagne, highlighting the importance of initiatives that promote entrepreneurship, innovation, and cooperation across Cyprus.
Since its launch in 2009, the Stelios Bi-Communal Awards have supported businesses that demonstrate how collaboration can create economic opportunities while strengthening relationships between the island's two communities.
KAZ Oil congratulates all award winners and participants for their commitment to building a more sustainable, prosperous, and united future for Cyprus.
